Growing up in a family comprised of educators and doctors, Dr. Savitha Bathini knew she wanted to serve others and become involved in the medical field, but it wasn't until her teenage years that she realized her passion for dentistry. She enjoys working with her hands, applying basic science, and helping spread oral health awareness to individuals. Instead of just merely offering pain relief, Dr. Bathini seeks to provide long-term solutions to dental health issues by taking a customized approach to each patient's treatment plan. With her compassionate nature, extensive knowledge, and enthusiasm, her goal is to educate people about the causes of oral diseases while delivering the highest quality of care possible. Dr. Bathini is a proud member of the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association.
Dr. Bathini began her academic journey in the place where she grew up, Bangalore (officially known as Bengaluru), India, by graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. A year later, she held an internship in oral implantology at IFZI GmbH in Nuremberg, Germany. After moving to the United States, Dr. Bathini completed a one-year residency in advanced oral surgery at the New York University College of Dentistry where she also ended up earning her doctor of dental surgery degree. As a believer in lifelong learning, she regularly participates in continuing education and has remained up to date on the latest advances in dentistry, including tissue bioengineering, implant dentistry, CAD/CAM, digital imaging, and more.
Dr. Bathini specializes in general dentistry, simple and complex extractions, wisdom teeth extractions, root canal therapy, dentoalveolar surgery, partial and full-mouth rehabilitation with implants and dentures, Digital Smile Design, Invisalign® treatment, and cosmetic procedures like veneers and teeth whitening. In addition to healthy individuals, she has successfully worked with patients who have systemic diseases and varying special needs. With her international education and background, Dr. Bathini is fluent in several languages, such as English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. Collectively, these skills enable her to communicate effectively and treat all patients regardless of their ethnicity or medical issues.
When she's not at her dental office, Dr. Bathini enjoys spending time with family, interior designing, traveling, and hiking.
We have an absolute great experience with Oracare dentistry starting from booking the appointments till we are done with our dental procedures. Dr. Bathini and her support staffs are great human beings taking utmost care of their patients which is much needed as its bit scary when you have those bad tooth infections or pains around. I visited along with my daughter and been super impressed with the facilities in offer along with the great services by this practice. We still have follow up visits and would like to refer using this service if you are looking for Dental care around this area.

Dr. Bathini and her staff are the BEST! She is extremely thorough, has amazing bedside manner, and you truly feel cared for. Her office is immaculately clean and she uses really state of the art technology to take images and x-rays of your mouth. She also spent a lot of time TEACHING me about my mouth and proper brushing technique. Her staff is also very warm, and kind. They offered me water while I was waiting and made me feel very comfortable before seeing the doctor. I only come to Plano a few times a year, but I wish I lived here because I would go to her all of the time!
Everyone here is super professional and very welcoming! Having a lot of anxiety going into the appointment, they were very reassuring and patient along the way. Definitely would recommend this practice to anyone!
